Dear Friends,
Kids in Christ is a new ministry for children roughly 4 & 5 years-old during the sermon. Already we have a handful of volunteers! Praise the Lord! The materials will be copied and placed in a bin with dated folders. An outline of how the time will be utilized will be given to you to use as a guide, but basically, we will model prayer, sing praise to our Lord (CD of praise and worship songs), read a bible story from The Beginner’s Bible (Zondervan Publishers: available on Christianbook.com for $9.95 if you’d like your own), discuss the passage, color a coloring page to go with the story, sing closing song (again CD), and closing prayer. The schedule will appear on the nursery schedule for your convenience. We still could use a few more volunteers for the nursery and for Kids in Christ, so spread the word and pray, please!
